Shade ApS accepts payments made with VISA, Mastercard and Maestro.
Payment will be deducted from your account after your order has been shipped. Payments are in Euro (EUR) and include VAT. We do not add any additional fees associated with your order.
Shadelights.com uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all web pages where personal information is required. SSL allows our server to automatically establish a secure connection with your web browser. When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is scrambled, transmitted across the Internet, and then decoded when it gets to us.
All orders are shipped with Shade’s logistic partners unless otherwise specified. Free shipping and handling are included in your order.
All orders, including international orders, include free shipping and handling. However, please note that you will be responsible for any taxes or duties processed by your country on imported goods.
Delivery to small islands may in some cases have longer delivery times.
We strive to deliver within 5-7 business days. However, in relation to delivery time, we take into account external conditions beyond our control, such as weather conditions, delays at Shade logistic partners or delays at our external partners.
4. Returns and Claims
Under the Danish Sale of Goods Act, a 2-year warranty is granted for the product. The warranty covers errors in material and/or production.
When you shop with us as a consumer, you have a right of 24 months warranty. If your complaint is justified, it means that you can either get the item repaired, exchanged, get the money back or a discount in price, depending on the specific situation. You must inform within a reasonable time that you have discovered the error. If you advertise within two months after the error has been discovered, the complaint is timely.
If your claim is warranted, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in proper packaging and remember to receive a receipt for shipping so that we can refund your shipping costs.

When you return the item, please provide a detailed description of the problem and send us a mail at email@example.com. Returns will not be accepted as Cash/Collect on Delivery (COD).
4.2 Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have 14 days of withdrawal when you shop with us.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you received your product. If you have ordered multiple items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the deadline will run from the day you receive the last item.
The deadline means that you have 14 days from you have received your product, to let us know that you will cancel your purchase. You can send an email
to firstname.lastname@example.org or use our standard return form and include it when you return your item. You can find our return form here. In your message, please make it clear that you wish to use your right to return/right of withdrawal.
You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the item without notifying us at the same time.
Return shipping and handling costs are paid by the customer.
Once Shade has accepted and processed the returned item(s) to ensure the item(s) fulfils the conditions of return, a full refund of the item's price (but excluding shipping and handling charges) will be credited to the same credit or debit card that made the original payment.
4.3.1. Condition of Product
You are liable only for any impairment of the value of the goods, which is due to the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and manner of the item. In other words, you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store, but you should not take it to real use.
If the product has been used in other ways than described above, we consider the products to be used, which means that, in the case of withdrawal of the purchase, only a portion or none of the purchase amount will be returned.
We recommend returning the item in the original packaging. If the original packing is missing, it may result in a depreciation of the item.
If you regret your purchase, you will get your money back. If the item is impaired, we deduct the amount for which you are liable. We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding additional delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different delivery form than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer) within 14 days from the date we received your message that you want to use your right of withdrawal.
We will return the money to the same payment method that you used to make the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.
We can withhold payment until we receive the product unless you send us documentation that the product has been returned.
